Agreed about not playing FPS on the SD. The screen is just too small and you really need an immersive experience.
The SD shines when it comes to platformers, racing/driving games, many indie titles and of course emulation.

Tried the Deck out yesterday for a couple of hours, not got much installed yet as I still need to download more games but really impressed so far with it. Not fussed in playing graphically demanding AAA games on it as my desktop is more than capable of that, but for easier to play games and emulators etc I can see this getting a lot of use.

Wouldn't worry- throw a 512Gb/1Tb SD in it. I haven't noticed any subjective difference between playing games off NVMe and SD. And you can upgrade to a 512Gb NVMe for less than the deck price difference.

If it's anything like the Steam mobile app, it never works for me. I always have to use the Steam app on my PC or mobile web page in my Android.
