Im kinda hoping it gets released with the next gen of Snapdragon X Elite. Whenever that is, battery life will be amazing.A SteamDeck 2 with a CPU that is as good or better than the Z1 Extreme?

How do you make it use an older version of Proton?
Is this somwhere in steam or does it require fiddling?
Select game > cog wheel icon > properties and change there. You can also add different versions with proton qt-up in desktop mode.

Ta, so compatibility mode.
Shame, they missed a chance to auto-select a working Proton version, this is exactly the kind of fiddling you shouldn't have on a console

Just tried Audiosurf with version 7.0 like some suggest in ProtonDb but it still crashes on clicking play
.Considering the likely couple of years until Steamdeck 2 it could well do, depends how these new laptops fare but it's looking promising.

Regarding my wifi issues: I have disabled Wifi power saving under dev mode and edited the network manager to remove the ****** ''random MAC address wifi scanning''.
After this, the wifi adapter works MUCH better.
I have actually see it connect to the correct AP's now (most of the time) when I sleep and wake and no more Wifi chokepoint:
It does focus to much on signal strength comapred to actual throughput, apparantly one of my AP's has a stonger signal (but worse throughput).
Still, what moron thought the wifi power saving is a good idea, it ruined my average bandwidth from 1000+ mbit (but that is limited by isp, I can get up to 8 gbps here) to 100-300 mbit tops?

I grabbed A Hat in Time and have rolled credits! Great little 3D platformer in the vein of 3D mario etc.
I then picked up Ori and the Will of the Wisps after finishing the first game a few months back and WOW!
This game really pops on the OLED and also has HDR which really stands out.
Tempted to Grab Forza Horizon 4 as it's getting delisted towards the end of the year, would be great to drive around the UK country side in hand held

Sekiro! Runs really well on the deck and has some extremely satisfying gameplay. Still not playing very well, but slowly getting there...

Nice, did you go for the full ultimate edition? Trying to decide if it's worth it over the standard
Is there a Story mode in Forza 4, and if so will it be playable after the delist? I'm trying to suss what you will actually be able to play once it goes. Like is there a voiced/cut scene type story mode offline? From what I can see form the delist faq there will continue to be daily challenges etc, but to me that sounds like it will just some random races?
