Hello - there's been a few threads on this over the years, so I thought I'd test the waters to see if there's any interest in an 'official' thread for general chat and news... but if not I'll let it die a death and make a note to keep my embarrassing hobbies to more niche forums

I'm a massive man-child and love a theme park. Over the years I've travelled quite a bit to experience some of the gnarliest coasters on the planet. I'm also a big fan of a 'ranking' list and YouTube videos that can be mindlessly clicked through... so why not start off with sharing my personal Top 30 \o/

On the news front, we have Nemesis in the UK closing on 6 November this year for a re-track (reopening in 2022), plus Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point is undergoing a mysterious ‘reimagining’…. the current speculation being it’s going reverse the direction of the launch (moving the launch components away from queues as sadly somebody was serious injured by flying debris last year).
