Hello - there's been a few threads on this over the years, so I thought I'd test the waters to see if there's any interest in an 'official' thread for general chat and news... but if not I'll let it die a death and make a note to keep my embarrassing hobbies to more niche forums
I'm a massive man-child and love a theme park. Over the years I've travelled quite a bit to experience some of the gnarliest coasters on the planet. I'm also a big fan of a 'ranking' list and YouTube videos that can be mindlessly clicked through... so why not start off with sharing my personal Top 30 \o/
Oh... spoiler alert... they are mostly in the USA.
30 - Storm Chaser (Kentucky Kingdom - USA)
29 - Taron (Phantasialand - Germany)
28 - Montu (Busch Gardens Tampa - USA)
27 - Gatekeeper (Cedar Point - USA)
26 - El Toro (Six Flags Great Adventure - USA)
25 - Orion (Kings Island - USA)
24 - The Legend (Holiday World - USA)
23 - Storm Runner (Hersheypark - USA)
22 - Shambhala (Port Aventure - Spain)
21 - Space Mountain (Magic Kingdom - USA)
The below POV is with the lights on but, as you may know, the ride is actually in the dark with space projections, making it exciting despite its slow speed and veteran age.
