Zaha has signed a new 5 year contract at Palace. Keeping him at the club until 2023.

Which of course means 5 more years of newspaper speculation linking him with moves to Spurs for £20m

This, I like how they're saying it proves his commitment to the club, didn't he leave for Man U a few years ago and came back because he couldn't perform?

Incorrect.

He was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson, and was actually his last signing. Wilf arrived at Man Utd to find a new manager in place. David Moyes simply had no interest in him and didn't even give him a chance.

There were. I don't know the veracity of them.

He picked the Ivory Coast because England were ignoring him. You can’t blame him for that. Up until Southgate, England were terrible for ignoring players outside the top six.

Regarding his “flop” at Man Utd. I refer you to my comment above. He was ignored by David Moyes with refused to even give him an opportunity to “flop”. David Moyes of course who lasted a season at Man Utd before being fired for poor performance.
