OcUK GeForce 7800GTX SILENT Extreme 256MB & SN21G5?

Will OcUK GeForce 7800GTX SILENT Extreme 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) (GX-033-OK) fit into a SN21G5? (possibly a stupid question :o)

Do you mean the ST20G5 mate?

If on the other hand, you do actually mean the SN25P then - yes :)

Nope. One user modded his SN21G5 in order to accomodate the 7900GTX 512Mb (same cooler as the GTX Silent).

SN25P
C3D x850XT PE

Fits... just. No modding required.

The HSF plastic shrouding is about half a mm from the cable routing clip on the PSU. It can be removed/repositioned but it is something to bear in mind with taller cards.

I told you last week it doesnt.
Not without removing the air shroud.
What you might want to ask (though not here) is if its ok to run an SN25P without the shroud.

of course it is ok without the shroud, its only a small plastic part(which the sn26p does away with completely)
mine is removed already even though i dont have a large gfx card at the moment and my temps are still rock solid

idle 20-28c load 28-38c - thats with a 3700 oc'd to fx57 speed.

but i still need to find out if it fits, the x1900xtx above fits ok, and i THINK the hs/fan of the iceq3 is same thickness.........just longer on the pcb. platinum fx you can tell me something though, does the end of the cooler protrude where the fan is?? or is it flat the length of the crad.

as EVH said, the I.C.E is a v.good cooler :)

though i dont have a 25P, from previous shuttles that used the I.C.E (albiet is a slightly different design to the 25p's but still same performance wise) it kept my old 2500-M at 2.6ghz with 2v vcore at nice temps (55odd full load) with a 120mm fan on it :)
