apple knows that it will be cracked, only a matter of time and the only way they can get people to sign up on a contract is to do it instore. I seriously don't think they will do the iTunes activation thing again, of course I am hoping they are but I can't see them to be that stupid. Sounds to me this $199/299 price is before the contract and not payg.

£30 one isnt bad, i'd go for that if i were to get one

edit...£699 at the end of the 18 months contract :| i think ill stick to my current iphone :)

Tariffs havent changed much the £30 is a joke. 75 minutes and 125 messages? Are they taking the ****?!

The £35 and £45 havent changed. The £75 seems a bit dear too.

Doesn't say whether it has to be done in store.

GET IN! Great news, I hope its sensibly priced.

Birthday is in August, might have to pre-order in store and sell my old one to my girlfriends brother!

reckon the PAYG will be crippleing prices tho??? £300 for the 8gb and poss 500 for the 16gb?? that still works out cheaper than the contract, cant imagine money grabbing apple whores selling it much cheaper?

Well you're welcome to use google and find out for yourself. ;)

LOL:p...yeh i suppose i could lol. Anyways it seems to have most of the major mhz bands...looking at the specs page but didnt see anything about MMS etc.

Definitely think ill get one but not on contract, only pick one up if they can be cracked like the first gen iphones...otherwise i shall wait for he the Xperia X1

I agree, I think the pay and go version will be a lot of money.
