I would be on a O2 tariff if I get an 3G iPhone.

It depends on a solution on the 3G iPhone. It would take a while for SwirlyMMS to come across to the 3G.

Hopefully an official third party app will enable MMS.

Something i just remembered, they should have tested 3G on the Youtube App.

EDGE resulted in lower bitrate videos, wonder what 3G will do.

Its still slower than Wi-fi but I think it could work.

New iPhone is looking good, does anyone know how much thicker the 3G version is? I dont know if I should get this, I cant decide atm . The GPS, games and other apps are brilliant.

MobileMe looks interesting too, can anyone confirm that you can use it with other personal emails or is it just your mobileme or .mac email address?

the new one is 0/5mm thicker and something like 0.2mm shorter.

After lunch, one of the lead engineers was going through it. Wasn't therefore part of the main keynote. The main keynote was all iPhone.

OpenCL is of the most interest to me.. enough to make me look at ADC to get early seeds of Snow Leopard.

How far before release do you get the seeds for the new OS normally?

I think people have underestimated OpenCL's impact on processing.. looks like Apple have their eyes on the hot area of Medical scanning too..

MacPro with two 6-8core CPUs, 16GB and a couple of GPUs please

I read the last 2/3 page of the thread, dont think its been mentioned but has the new iPhone got a proper headphone jack which doesn't need an adaptor?
