The iPhone chipset does support FM broadcasting, but they didn't enable it.

I thought it was a decent keynote, particularly liking the ability to wipe the iPhone from the Mobile Me web app, the MBP updates and the $29 upgrade for Leopard users. The amount of Windows fanboyism on engadget is scary (service pack update!!1121one!!)

I admit I did LOL when it was shown that the US aren't getting tethering on launch :D

As usual they put too much emphasis on the app presentations, and lacked real Snow Leopard demos..

I won't be upgrading yet though, I'm saving for my new house build coming up.

I am hoping to get one, question is working out if the 16Gb is going to be enough storage.

Edit: just seen the prices from the above post, think it'll be the 16Gb :)
 
Guess Id better ring TMobile with my PAC code then...

Hope the latest iPhone isnt crap - anyone got a full spec list (including stuff thats new/improved on 3GS and stuff thats the same?)

That would mess up existing apps though.

Too many people (not aimed at Paras) are expecting the world in a slimline package it seems. Be realistic at least. There is only so much you can fit into the 3G's form factor and it was always going to be a speed bump with a new battery and lens.

Aren't you the funny one! You should take that routine on the road!

I expected it to be an upgrade worthy of a keynote - not the same form factor with much of the "upgrades" being brought about by software that the older versions will be able to use.

I'm sorry if your expectations are so low that you're blown away by a 3mp camera and video recording capability, I truly am. It speaks volumes that people are talking about a *****ng *compass* like Apple have just split the atom.

Am i going mad or have Apple just re-badged the 13" Unibody Macbook as a Macbook Pro?

I can't see any difference to my 13" Uni Macbook to the new 13" Macbook Pro on the Apple Store.
 
I think Apple are screwed next year, what the hell are they gonna add? iPhone OS 3.0 and the 3GS tick pretty much every box in the wish list, there's not really any killer features to add...
