Gah decisions, decisions!

I really wanted an updated iMac for home. But I don't want to get stuck waiting forever for a refresh so do I just get a current iMac? But the new MBPs look sexy too, even without Retina. But I already have a MBP, so seems a bit pointless buying a second. I would want a large 27" screen, so that's another £900!

I have been umming and arring since Monday night! What to do... help me! :(

I hate Apple!

I decided to get the Thunderbolt display to complement my MBP last year. I haven't regretted even if it has left a £900 shaped hole in my account.

I've also ordered a Twelve South BookArk today so I can hide the MBP behind the monitor.

Sorry Marky, iOS6 won't work for you - my developer account has expired now anyway and I won't be renewing for the time being.

You can get it on devices without UDID activation. I feel sorry for anyone who paid for it.

> Install fresh iOS 5.X.X > Activate
> Download iOS 6.0 IPSW
> Click OPTION/ALT + Check for Update (OSX) in iTunes (Not Restore).
> Browse IPSW
> Restore > Leave > YeY!

Yep! Mine has worked on both my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 without activation :D
Was slightly confuzzled at first but it works :)

Would upgrade, however I'm not going to if it is a bug, as it means that I have to wipe my phone and lose everything to go back.

Better to wait it out and see what happens with Beta 2.

The GMs don't require a UDID though, as they are used for the official release if no problems are found.

It could be done on purpose I don't know. It's worth it though as I have iOS 6 on all my iDevices and it feels really stable but with more features.

No jailbreak though :( I hear that Musclenerd has successfully jailbroken iOS 6 beta to an extent - but there's a lot of work waiting for them! Good to know they're actively working on it though!
