Shouldn't this be in software section?

WWDC is traditionally software rather than hardware but I did check and the majority of the WWDC threads have been here in Apple Hardware.

It's a fair point though and I think it justifies moving it over.

These people who ‘predict’ things throw everything they can up in the air as rumours in the hope that they’ll be right. Most of it is click bait speculation, nothing more. It’s only been eighteen months since the original M1 MBA and the move away from Intel isn’t complete yet.

I expect to see an M2 this year but not until Q4.

WWDC is primarily a software event. You can be sure that there will be announcements about iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS. Anything else is a unexpected bonus.

Hehe, don’t get too excited over WWDC, there won’t be an M2. I’m working away this week so I’ll be sitting in a hotel watching it.

The store always goes down for WWDC.

It's normally about a two hour event, I'm not sure I can manage being parked in a hotel room all that time, especially when it's tea time.

In the US, people get bullied and shamed for not having blue messages, it's huge over there.

The new Air isn't for me. The speed increase doesn't seem worthwhile and the 13" Pro is basically the same as the Air but with a few extra ports and a squirt of screen brightness. Oh and fans. Nope.

Most people should get the Air or the 14" Pro.

Yup, never really got the point of the 13" Pro.

It'll be a good time to pick up a second hand M1 MBA or perhaps a refurb.
