** The Official WWDC 2025 thread - Keynote 9th June at 18:00 BST **

I'm looking forward to this. I've been off and on trying to learn iOS development so I'm interested in hearing about what is coming in the next iOS and macOS versions. Plus all the developer videos they release.

TBH I've been so close to buying an M4 MPB, then I think to myself what's slow with my M1? And I keep it.

Honestly, I wouldn't have bothered upgrading to the M4 Mini if I hadn't made the bad decision to have the M1 16", it was far too big for me. I honestly can't see me needing to upgrade my daily-Mac for years and years now. My non-Mac either really, as I run super minimal unix on that now too.

Always look forward to the Craig memes in these though, and find some of the actual sessions super interesting even though I barely do any Swift.

Seem to be big rumours of a macOS like interface on iPads and a new redesign of iOS. This my own guess: they might release the new Mac Pro as well. It'll be interesting to see what other stuff comes out.

Edit: Gah I missed the other thread please delete.

Edit 2: LOL. I even posted in the other thread. My memory is terrible.

So the big rumour is that iOS will have a complete makeover and iPadOS will look more like macOS. No idea if I believe it but it'll be fun to see at the speech.

There's also the rumour of, a limited variant of, Stage Manager for iOS (later model iPhone's only) which could be interesting although given Samsung has had Dex for a fair while which is always seen as a bit of a (very) niche feature, i do wonder how useful it would be to the average iPhone user.

(iOS) Live Translate for AirPods could be handy though and it will be interesting to see how it stacks up against Google's version of it which isn't too bad.
