*** The Official Xbox One Thread ***

Just wanted to check about digital purchases; if the game is showing as a UK/EU code I presume that it means I cannot activate with my account which is now showing as NZ?

Nope, I've already filled the 1TB on the x :p

Guess you have to buy external storage or maybe the streaming service will be a bigger part of it.

I took a gamble with the One X j bought on reflection should I have waited ? Maybe but still very pleased with the One X

At 1080p which I play at everything looks fantastic and runs smooth

Load times are much better than my One

Device feels real quality - it's near silent too even when playing games - I've not heard the fan yet !

The cost of an expansion drive will be pivotal, i think. It could make the difference between a steal of a price and poorer VFM. most people do have more than a few games installed, especially where the console is shared.

Oh I agree, it's still cracking value for what I paid but if the series s can do everything the one x can do (minus disc drive) and has support for next gen then returning and paying £70 more doesnt seem too bad.

Alternatively keep the x for a year, sell for a small loss and buy a series x when some decent games come out.

I'm going to go for the latter - keep the One X there are so many games I've not played yet

Then get the Series X sometime mid to end next year

The gaming experience on the One X is so much more like gaming on my PC everything smooth etc is be a bit nervous with base spec of the next generation.

Do you really have 4 games on the go at once?
i currently play dead by daylight, bf5, sea thieves, red dead online, mafia 3, rocket league.

though only really a few over lap, when my brother say wants to play sea thieves, i'm not exactly wanting to uninstall a game and then wait for 50gb to download, then when done, remove and install the previous game again

You can still connect an old USB HDD to store your games. It will play anything from OG Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbone. You only need the SSD for Xbox Series games.

Doesn't help that download speeds on the Xbox are pure garbage (a lot of the time).

Im on 100MB FTTP, which I max easily via WiFi on my MacBook Air/Pro and a W10 machine. My Xbox which is hard wired fluctuates all over the place but its never a consistent rate.
