*** The Official Xbox One Thread ***

I'm going to go for the latter - keep the One X there are so many games I've not played yet

Then get the Series X sometime mid to end next year

The gaming experience on the One X is so much more like gaming on my PC everything smooth etc is be a bit nervous with base spec of the next generation.

I'll probably do the same as I really like how quiet the X is and I doubt the Series S will be the same due to cost cutting. Still got a few weeks of return window left so will just see what is announced in the coming days. I've bought 3 years of gamepass ultimate now so I should have access to the streaming service soon so that is another option for newer games if the One / X is no longer supported.

Can you actually make use of that speed downloading games though? I have mine connected via ethernet to the router and it doesn't max out my 200Mbps connection
Nope! Most I’ve got out of it is 4.8 Gb/s using multiple devices simultaneously.

My One X maxes out at about 480 Mb/s. My ISP doesn’t throttle Microsoft servers to the extent that UK ones do it seems.

Edit: Hang on, that 480Mb/s might be the HDD write speeds limiting my download speeds :p

Perfect timing from EA Play for me my sub runs out in November :)
This should bring in lots of new online players for older games aswell breathing new life into the Battlefield,PVZ and Titanfall series.
Nice move by Microsoft.

I'll definitely trying out all those Battlefield games I've missed since Bad Company 2. Heck, it will be great to play Bad Company 1 again! Plenty of stuff I've never played like the Star Wars games as well as I refuse to use Origin on PC.
