I enjoyed the first movie, and this was not as good as that. However it's wasn't as bad as some are making out, it's only 1h45mins.. so quite tight. I'd give it a 5/10 for the movie.. but an extra point, because "Charlize Theron"..

im the same - thought the 1st was really good. this wasnt up to that standard tbh. still watchable. thou feels like 1/2 of a movie, hopefully it gets part 3

I watched the first one again immediately before this 2nd one and the 2nd one is nowhere near as good. Too much myth and backstory filling, almost like the writers inventing reasons to solve the problem creates by the first one (you know the one I mean if you’ve watched it), and then end on a cliffhanger? It wasn’t even that long a movie and they want to drag it out to a 3rd? It’s hardly John Wick.

The first one was OK, interesting story which allowed most people to overlook the formulaic aspects of the cast/characters.. rip the story away and it just leaves a formulaic tick box movie that half my household got their phones out and preferred doom scrolling on facebook..

Meh sums this one up, especially with how it ends, might aswell have broke the fourth wall and winked at the camera for the introduction for the third film.
