US: The Old Man

It's very good. Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow are on top form. Love how the 1st episode goes from an old bloke living in a quiet country town with his dogs (who are equally the stars of the show), visiting the doctor for the regular ailments to full-on brutality.

3 eps in, binged this eve and really good. At some points the fighting was obviously a bit lacking in accuracy, you could see they were faking contact - But overall very good and fairly intense.

Wasn't impressed with episode 5. Again just jumps into some of reveals from last episode as if they are nothing. Pretty much nothing of note/interest happens. Hopefully it's building up to something in the coming episodes.

Jeff Bridge's looks and sounds like he's juggling a bunch of marbles in his mouth, which is starting to get annoying now as well.

Started off with so much promise but the past few episodes have solidified the ridiculousness. It's totally unbelievable in terms of story and character behavior and feels more complicated than it needs to be, that Afghanistan backstory is just a snooze fest.

Jeff also sometimes looks and sounds like he's had a drink before going on stage... I'm having a hard time understanding what he's saying.
