righty, in order to stop a new thread being made when this one is already here i thought id do it here.
Its come down to needing a desktop and laptop.
I dont NEED a mac after much debating, but i do want one as i like them.
There are 3 routes to take; windows desktop and mac laptop, just mac laptop, or just windows desktop.
So i have come up with the following which i thought some people might have thoughts on before money is spent and tears are cried!

If i kept my current PC i would have £900ish for a laptop, which a macbook 13" with 2gb ram is £950.
or i could stretch out a lil more and get the £950 macbook and upgrade my desktop ram to 2GB and a E6300 for £200ish in the future few weeks. Would that £200 be worth it coming from 1GB ram and P4 805D @ 3.8ghz, or would it be better to spend £200 on going for macbook pro instead of normal macbook
I could just get quad core, 2GB ram and 8800GTX and sod the laptop off lol!
So is it wise to save the money for a few months for new technology/price drops on current? Spend it all on a windows desktop that would be amazing, spend all the money on a macbook pro and keep my current desktop or split it?
I seem to ask a lot of people on here recently, tis nice of people to reply though

Hope you all have a good new years anyways!
Thanks for any advice you give me
