Hmm well if temps dont chancge much then fair enough...I just presumed that naturally with voltage comes heat? Voltage can still kill a CPU without too much heat too, as poeple using phase rigs have seen.

Well gentlemen some will be horrified im back from my members market indiscretion, other less so... lol. 
Got my CABGE Friday and the mobo this morning... it's all up and running now.
Bit problem is that I completely overlooked the fact that i'd need a PSU with a 24-pin ATX connector... i'm stuck with a 20-pin for a bit, though it is a powerful PSu and seems to be doing the job. Got my sights set on a 600w seasonic quad-rail jobby as soon as I can afford it.
These cabbages are fairly aptly named and I think they will need a fair bit of burning in. I am sitting tight at 2.5ghz @ 1.5v... to be honest I don't dare go too much higher without a bigger, beefier PSU. Booted into windows at 2.7ghz but needed more voltage... 1.65+ I imagine.
Another problem I have is that my RAM will not work in dual-channel in my mobo, I can only get 1GB to work in slots 1 & 2 in single channel... and even then I have to run it at 2T (CPC off). Bit peed off with that to be honest... must be hitting performance a bit.
Managed to get my BFG 7800GT to 480/1.17 and am getting 7'100 3DMARKS in 0'5 @ 2.5ghz which is probably about right. Games seem to be running a LOT smoother... and I guess they will further still when I get dual-channel running with (unfortunately) better RAM and a better PSU.
My Si-120 is a trooper though... barely budges from 32c despite 1.5v and a 700mhz overclock. Very chuffed with it.

lol cheers, I inadvertantly bumbed a thread in the MM, was nothing to do with the Oppy threads unlike some thought.

Can you run me a 1MB SuperPI @ 9*300 (2.7ghz) and give me the results please mate? I want to compare the score to my rig as im running single channel not dual due to memory probs and want to see what the hit is.

Hmm interesting... I may push to 1.7v later... thing is with this latest FI BIOS made by OCZ the Vcore is capped at 1.55 + 13%. I may have to flash back to something that gives me more... I just hope my heatsink is up to the task.
I'll tell you what though, my temps are rock solid... seem to hiver around 32 and I haven't seen them rise about 35 under heavy load... though temp reporting in mobos is always a bit screwy.

No I made a mistake with he first post lol, thought I had a CABYE but it was a cabbage. I'm now 32m SuperPI stable at 2.6ghz with 1.65v so am going to get this stable then shoot for 2.7ghz. My brain is telling me to wait for a better PSU by my inner little boy is saying gogogogogogo.
Really want a CABNE though, i'm going to keep an eye out for one...
