ORange Box on the 360 worked great, Tf2 sucks on it, but apart from that it's a very good game

However myself, and IIRC a few others on here, thought L4D was crap

There are still people playing L4D but the community is nowhere near as large as that of the PC. If you want the best FPS experience on consoles you ideally need to try to focus on games that weren't ported from the PC as the majority of people interested in said titles will already have it on their PC thus the interest isn't as large.

Games like Halo 3 and CoD4 have much, much larger communities. If you're after some coop action/mild horror Resident Evil 5 is highly rated. It's a two person co-op 3rd person shooter.

I Enjoyed really orange box on the xbox, it gets my recommendation as for L4D I'm planning on getting it after, I finish fallout and get bored of halo wars (amazing game).

Xbox is the cheap mans PC (achievements are nice though). I can't afford to keep up with all this new PC stuff it just costs too much but if you can I would go for pc version.

L4D is great on the xbox, PC version is great as well.
Pick the version you have people to play with on, its a coop game after all.

PC probally edges it due to more flexabilty/modability but i have more Xbox mates than PC mates these days so the xbox version gets more play from me.
