As mentioned the alien pistol thingy is "Appzapper", the cup with pens is "Todo", and the green cube is "Minecraft"

Exactly the same, I have 11 currently and could take more off but I've got used to always hiding the dock now, so not so much of an issue, much cleaner also.

Well after my SSD failed on me yesterday i managed to rebuild the OS after installing a WD Blue i had around. The bike below is not one i own but would love to one day its a Triumph Tiger Explorer

noob question (new to mac) but how do you get your icons like that?

He is using CandyBar. But there are other options ie IconBox as well and also manually by right clicking 'Get Info' and drag n drop the icon etc (Google it).
