I use quicksilver, but i find that it's too slow, so i keep opening the wrong programs because the menu takes a second or so to pop up, and by that time i have already typed most of the keyword of the app i am opening (if that makes sense)... i don't know if that's because of my macbook having 512k of ram, or that the program is just slow.. still a great app though.
 
havent had my mac long 17" Macbook pro. :)



Minimal style :)

i mainly use it for music production work.

I must admit, this thread has some very nice screenshots :), but surely you can take my point that if people are going to keep both threads alive with identical content then having two is surely redundant?

In the old thread, the first post is very clear that it is for both Mac screenshots and Mac setups. It also says that it will be regularly maintained, with red x's removed.

Personally, I fail to see why we couldn't have created a thread to share screenshots of Mac & Linux/Unix etc setups, then maybe have a seperate one off thread for Mac hardware :)

edit: added some smilies ;) I'm not deliberately trying to start a fight, there's not enough snow around for that type of thing ;)

I made this because i noticed in the old thread it was mainly hardware pictures i seen posted. So i made this one dedicated to desktop pics and people have been using it.

If a mod wants to merge it they can, or make a Mac, Linux and Unix thread. But i'd prefer to keep it just to Mac, i'd also prefer a Mac dedicated section ;)
 
It's nice to see what others have for their wallpaper and any icons. I always change the appearance of any icons that appear on my desktop such as the hard drives.
