My current PC spec is

Processor - Intel Core i5-2500K
Cooler - Stock Intel
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4
Ram - G.Skill RipjawsX 8GB (4x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz
Graphics Card - GeForce GTX 580
Power Supply - Corsair HX 850W
HDD - Kingston 240GB SSDNow V300
Case - Corsair Graphite 600T

i decided it was time for a new build, my motherboard was one of the dodgy ones with the p67 chipset problem so i wasn't able to have a 2nd hard drive in the system unless i gave up the optical drive

this is what i decided to go with

Processor - Intel 4930K 3.40GHz
Cooler - Corsair Hydro H80i High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard - Asus Rampage IV Extreme Black Edition
Ram - Kingston HyperX Beast 16GB (4x4GB) 1600MHz Quad Channel
Graphics Card - MSI GeForce GTX 780Ti Gaming Edition
Power Supply - Corsair Professional Series AX 860W '80 Plus Platinum
HDD - Samsung 500GB SSD 840 EVO SATA 6Gb/s
Case - Corsair Obsidian 650D Gaming Windowed Midi Tower

has anyone fitted one of these cpu coolers before? i just wanted to know if its best to fit it to the board before putting it in the case or is it something i should do last?

usually i regret not doing something or forget something along the way and have to take the board back out of the case during a build so if anyone has any idiots advice id be glad to hear it :p
