So..... Ive been benchmarking my arrival and I'm stable at 2050 without any voltage increases.

My MSI afterburner doesn't seem to have the voltage increase slider unlocked even though I've ticked the box to do so. Does anyone know why? I assume I need to update?....

The performance is better than I expected and it beats my 980s in Sli in everything so far.

You can't change the voltage on 1080 cards.

I have the Strix Gamer and whacked the voltage slider all the way to the right in MSI Afterburner before incrementing my core and memory clocks.

Is that not the way to do it?

Received MSI GTX 1080 today, sadly it has some pretty horrible coil whine so it will be returned, probably next week.

Shame, we shouldn't have this problem in 2016.

I need to download the beta version to unlock the voltage.

I've never had coil wine before but I seem to be getting a high pitched sound coming from the card..... Its not noticeable when the fans rack up but it's still noticeable when I'm just on the desktop. Will it go or always be there?

Evga and msi definitely do.

Zotac, palit, gainward definitely don't.

I think gigabyte do as well. For the most part if you don't tell them then they will accept the rma as normal.

No the palit jet stream is different and so is the G1.so are the high end evga cards Go t Ek website and use their checker. It will tell you which cards fits a block or which block you need for your card

And that is why I didn't check the PDF thought takes the full size one...

Just as a little heads up for everyone and this is only my opinion but I recently received the ASUS strix oc 1080.

For over clocking I recommend MSI afterburner. I've used the MSI, EVGA and ASUS programs and MSI afterburner is certainly the best. It's easy to use, gets regular updates and gives great info both ingame and out of it.

No the nvidia HB SLI wont fit. The block gets in the way of the fins on the Nvida SLI card.
