Is there no way of applying a custom fan curve so it sticks without msi afterburner, or evga precision running all the time?

I'm pretty sure these with the monitors running are causing stutters in GTA V.

Whats the actual difference between the Palit Jetstream and the Super Jetstream apart from the clocks? I'm not really clued up on gfx cards but the only difference i can see on their website when i do a comparison is that one says Graphics card power = 200w and the other says 180w. Does that mean one has a diff power delivery setup? A couple more vrm's or whatever? :confused:

Or are they just the same and one uses more power because it's clocked a bit higher.

Well i have been playing my games for the last few hours and im happy with my purchase.. i cant even hear the card i had to check the fans were actually running at one point lol :cool:

Have not tried clocking it yet but it boosts to 1961 out of the box and does not seem to drop from there

Is there much difference between the EVGA Gaming ACX and the SC Gaming ACX. Is the only difference the base clock speeds ?

Will be removing the cooler and putting a waterblock on it going with EVGA for warranty reasons. Just don't know if it's worth paying the extra for the SC or with GPU boost I'm likely not going notice a difference.

same board afaik across the range. Gainward their sister company (its the same card and cooler) confirm they speed bin their chips so I would assume pallit do to.

Fastest ones go in the GLH and super cards. Ones that dont pass get a different sticker on and go down the range of cards.

Basically Pallit and Gainward only make two boards despite having 8 different cards in their ranges.

Will be removing the cooler and putting a waterblock on it going with EVGA for warranty reasons. Just don't know if it's worth paying the extra for the SC or with GPU boost I'm likely not going notice a difference.

I have put both the SC and a founders edition underwater and the SC did boost about 100mhz higher however the performance difference was negligible. Kept the SC cause I am stubborn (long story). Backplates on both cards are compatible with EK's blocks without any modding or extra screws.

Just ordered the Palit 1080 Jetstream on this today only deal for £539.99, wasn't even remotely in the market to upgrade my 390 but seemed like a great deal and being student finance day and all have a lil bit of leftover money to enjoy ha.

Not been with Nvidia since my old GTX 480 days (god I loved that card), excited to see what I can do with this when it arrives presumably Friday
