Yeah I have already. I was previously using afterburner for my AMD OCing so much more at home with the interface. Only really need PXOC for when I finally port my parts to the Corsair 750D I have in the loft, so I can set the RGB lighting.

I've got a mild OC, but not really adding that much extra tbh in performance, it hits a smidge over 2050 and 5500 Mem. Been just loading up all my old games and cranking it all up. Lovely feeling :)
 
I'm running mine at stock and it tears holes in pretty much any game out there. Had this card for about 3 months now and still marvel at it every time I game.
 
I received yesterday a Zotac Amp Extreme Spectra GTX1080

Bought it from the B grade section for £550, what a bargain!!! (my guess would be, it was returned under DSR because it wouldn't fit in their case)

Even managed to register it with Zotac for the 5 year warranty.

Came in original box but had been opened, i even got Haribos :)

Out of the box boost i am seeing 2063 dropping to 2000 as temps rise, it hasn't dropped below 2000 yet even after 4 hours playing BF4 and BF1, temps are idle 30 load 70 (in a well ventilated case).

I have been using a XFX7990 for about 3 years and had been very happy with it, but OMG the 1080 is way way quicker.

Playing BF4 at 1440p ultra settings it hasn't dropped below 74fps (Afterburner stats) even in a fire fight on Operation Firestorm with flames and smoke, it mainly stays in the early to mid 100s, my 7990 would drop to mid late 20-30fps when in the same situation and hover around 75-85fps.

BF1 plays at ultra settings DX12 80+fps super smooth (looks fantastic)

Haven't bothered to OC it as it is boosting to 2063 out of the box.... Plus i am still on 2500k at the moment.

Any one wondering if its worth the upgrade like i had been, i say to you do it! ;)

Thanks, ordered one, i'll see how it performs next to this one.

The fans on this are connected to the motherboard, if i hook them up to the gpu they run at full speed.. at least i'll be able to get rid of the extra cable and wont have to manually control the fans.
 
Had it about a week now, loving it. Really enjoying playing through my backlog knowing that I can crank it up. Replaced CF 7970s which actually were great value, but it was time for a treat. I think CPU and mobo is holding me back, but as that's a large purchase, will wait to see when I can do that
