Found Palit GameRock "open box" today for £488 so ordered it.

Still get 12 months warranty. Tuesday is so far away now...

Nice one. Hope its good. I got a like new founders edition 1070 for £300 a while back ago and its heatsink screws were missing. They didnt even notice. had to return that :rolleyes:

Does anyone know if the EVGA FTW Hybrid cooling solution is available separately to purchase and would it fit the Classified considering they are really close to eachother in the PCB department ?

You can buy it separately but i don't think it will fit the classy, only reference cards.

I'm talking about the FTW kit, Not the founders edition version.

Doubt it mate. If you look at the PCB some of the caps are in very different locations. Plus EK state that the classy isn't compatible with their FTW blocks.

EVGA 1080 ftw hybrid has a primary and a slave bios. What's the difference and which one should I leave it on?

AFAIK the slave bios has a 130% power target and the main is 120%.

Amazon had a pricing error this morning and the Pallit 1080 was up for £56! Placed my order for 2, but by the time I'd got the confirmation email it had chanced to 2 LCD monitoring displays.

Replacement finally arrived today. Thanks to ocuk, who kept to their word like clockwork. Around 4 weeks all told, I don't know the details, but it looks like ocuk replaced it from their own stock. So Inno3d probably isn't top of the RMA tables for speed or information.

Should get round to installing during the week

Damn thats terrible.

My 1080 died on the sat rma sorted and posted thurs, mon they emailed me saying my new card was shipped. Took till thirs tobarrive only due to it comming from germany. So a week after posting i had my replacement 1080.

Evga still best rma.

You live and learn. The Inno3d was cheaper by a fairly wide margin at the time, but there are probably better options going now.

Anyone found replacing the stock TIM to be of any use ? Gonna be swapping out the TIM for some Thermal Grizzly when my Classifieds pads come and am curious to see if the TIM will make any difference.

Yes. When watercooled mine, used initially the EK Ectotherm. By using the Cryonaut dropped the temps by 13C

5-7c here using same TIM compared with stock.
