Hi NirK

The differences this time from SC - FTW

1) SC has 9cm fan, FTW has 10cm.
2) FTW has 10 power phases over 5 on the SC.
3) FTW has dual BIOS, SC is single.
4) FTW has RGB LED the SC has just white.
5) It will have better clock speeds - TBC.

Thanks
Ben

Thanks, also is the cooler on the FTW significantly better than the ACX 2.0 cooler you had on 980ti?

It will be quiet as you only see about 1% of the people who buy the card on the forums in the owners thread.

I think OcUK sold about 500 cards and we have got 5 owners on TROH.:)

I'm sure most of us forum posters couldn't quite bring ourselves to buy a FE card, that 1% should increase in a week or 2. :)

Fans are the same size on FTW and Classified. 10cm.

Ben

We were talking about the size of the heatsink, looks the same to me or could be a bit bigger on the classified.

Also is the ACX 3.0 heatsink on the 1080 FTW much better than the ACX 2.0 cooler on the 980ti classified etc? Does it have more heatpipes and fins etc?

Thanks

Quick question... ive gone from 2x280X crossfire, these cards were sapphire vapor-x oc editions, constant pain the butt with the factory overclock eing unstable on both cards - had to lower memory by 50 on each card to get them anywhere near stable.. wasnt due to crossfire and overheating either tried 3 cards all the same symptoms single and dual :/ so.. finally sold them ( whoopeee never going crossfire / sli again ) my question is.. how much of a difference will i see when my 1080 lands tomorrow ( its like xmas eve ) .

Rig:
Cosmos s .. 3 fans on top blowing out / 2 on front sucking in .. fan controller on auto.
I7 4770K oc 4.4ghz - corsair h80i
32gig ddr3 2400 hyper x
Asrock extreme6 mobo
Silverstone 1000watt psu
1 x samsung 240 ssd
6 x 2tb 7200rpm wd hdds
2x 24" benq monitors 1x42" lcd

I know the card is overkill for 1080p but my primary reason for getting it is for my rift and vr when it arrives..

Tia ^_^

980TI Gigabyte G1 / 87.6% asic = 1570mhz core

980TI Gigabyte G1 / 76.3% asic = 1520mhz core

980TI MSI 6G / 66.2% asic = 1470mhz core

Just my experience with OC and asic.
