The Pascal GTX 1080 Owners Thread

What temperatures and clock speeds are you getting with the kit?
Looks like a good way of minimising costs every time a new gpu comes along!

Still not hooked up yet but was getting 1880hz at 80c before hand

Grizzly paste on to. Very cheap option , heatsink is £50 which isn't a bad price . makes having a modular system easy and cheap

Received mine yesterday. First impressions are absolutely awesome! Went for the Asus Strix 1080 A8G, seemed good value when you factor in the rebate and free game.

I just ordered the Palit GameRock GTX 1080 from OcUK, it's coming tomorrow and I can't wait. As to why are people buying these, I guess with the price drop they're decent value.

Thanks for the link. I have 12 of those games. Including GRW and & ME:A
I suppose this will be closer to what I want to know. http://www.babeltechreviews.com/battle-titans-pascal-titan-x-vs-maxwell-titan-x/3/
This one http://www.babeltechreviews.com/gtx-1070-arrives-25-games-benchmarked/4/ doesn't seem to me worth upgrading.
May as well wait for the next Gen:D

Ah getting my annual bonus...and a big itch got the better of me.

Zotac 1080 AMP now in use, lovely card and the increase in performance over my previous R390 is impressive.
Now I have an itch for a new monitor...going to have to wait to scratch that one though!
