If you speak to @ChugNorris it may be something we can do as a custom option, although the case would no longer be SFF, the extra 110mm of required case length (for the GPU) would push the case volume up to around 10.7 litres which puts it in firing range of the SG13.

Anyone undervolting theirs for better performance?

Basically the way GPU 3.0 works is when the card gets hot it will kick in and throttle it.

So you want to undervolting it to take away the heat aspect. Whilst still pushing the clock up slightly.

This way although your putting less volts into hit. Your getting better performance as when it hits full load it won't heat up as much.

I have a 100mhz overclock on 975mv which is basically my starting point going to tweak until it's unstable.

Annoyed I didn't pickup the MSI Seahawk EK X when it was £499 as its costing about the same anyway.

Be very careful when undoing the 4mm hex bolts on the back of the card, it is best to use a socket as it is awkward with a spanner or pliers and very easy to do damage to the PCB.

Installed WC loop, damn its cool. Not topped 38 degrees yet.

Anyone using a voltage curve to overclock? Wondering what sort of targets I should aim for/what the curve should look like. 2100 boost seems ok so far.

Try OC with and without the curve and test the performance.

When I try I get much the same performance using both methods but when using the curve the overclocks indicated are higher but the performance has not increased.

I've had the Asus Strix 1080 for a while now (March), couldn't be happier

I got my 1080 last December. It's the funnest GPU I've ever had and everything is smoother than a knife through butter on my 1440P 144Hz monitor. My G1 Gaming 1080 runs at around 2Ghz. I haven't tweaked it.

Going back to the AU sorts things, but two days later MS have pushed the CU on me again and the stutter, and slide show is back in BF1 and manifesting it's self in Prey. (I've tried everything to fix the problem)

Eagerly waiting for the new MS update in Oct.

I'm getting the same issue as you, but only sometimes. Thankfully it's fine most of the time (excluding the Witcher 3).

It's a basic install of windows. Only thing I have running is the Gigabyte OC utility. But it makes no difference with it on or off.

Going back to the 1607 build made such a huge difference.

7 months on the Asus 1080 Strix is still going strong! Only complaint I have is the RGB can't do white properly
