To get on the Roll of Honour all you have to do is post a pic with your user name on it of your GTX 1080.

Looking good. Certainly interested in seeing the OC SLI vs 1080 OC though. Or even 1080 SLI OC vs 980Ti SLI OC.

Could also be bad scaling from the sli setup making the 1080 look better, not got witcher so no idea if it scales all that well.

Would agree with this. Witcher 3 does scale somewhat but not perfect. Between my Titan X's OC to 1468 and my 1080's at 2050 mhz @ 3440 x 1440 with all settings maxed the difference is about 8-12 fps average at like for like locations.

IMO is he did a video between a 980Ti OC'd and 1080 OC'd the delta would not look quiet so bad.

Is it me or is the Ti SLi setup more stuttery? I had this problem when I went back to Ti SLi in Division, just couldn't get rid of it! The 1080 is like butter in comparison!!

I'm hoping the new SLi implementation sorts this out tbh, not good.

I guess framerate isn't everything...

1080 does have smoother frame pacing and frame-timing than the 980Ti. That will add to the smoothness of the game.

I have similar issues at times with my Ti's on the division. See what its like when i receive my 1080's on monday :).

Pretty normal of SLI. 1080's behave similar for me. Turning off SLI, 1 card is definitely smoother, though 2 are working pretty well in witcher 3.

Ergh I would have the single card with lower FPS every time, the stuttering would irritate me!

Maybe with DX12 and the HB bridge it will improve but not seen any evidence yet.

Using a HB bridge? This may be the important bit...

Nope, they are not available for sale anywhere. Date on them is TBA.

However in this interview with PCper, Tom Peterson (Nvidia) does mention that the bridges with issue are flexible ones prior to LED bridges on the market: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rO7pfttVAn0 Leads me to believe the LED bridges such as EVGA et al which I have been using will be similar to the HB bridge. Remains to be seen of course, but microstuttering in general is inherent to SLI configs. Though I do hope the new bridges do some magic also

Excellent, please let us know!! If it's solved then I may get another :)

Using a HB bridge?

Mine is an EVGA V2 ridged bridge. Designed for 4k and 144hz 1440p. Might grab an EVGA HB bridge once released.

Division is the only one really. Every other game runs as smooth as a single card for me. Although it is more noticeable under 85ish fps.

Sure, no problem. Should have it all ready Monday evening :). Can't wait to get them in and under water :D
