I am looking forward to DSR'ing to 1440p on my 1080p monitor with G-SYNC enabled.
 
My G1 arrived today \o/

Really nice to have a graphics card again, been on Intel potato power for a couple of weeks since my 980 Ti died. Quite surprised at how thin it is, maybe as it's not a blower like my 980 Ti was.

Cranked up everything in Overwatch to the maximum and let it run at 100% GPU load for 30 minute and only hit 68c, although fans were audible at 50% fan speed. Looking forward to trying other games!
 
oh **** the G1 I ordered elsewhere for a pretty good price just for a laugh whilst I make up my mind has been despatched.lol oops!

Don't even want it really!
 
Decided to cancel my incoming G1 (hopefully they can get it back off the van!). Just cant justify £530 on one of these. I think it only seemed like a good price compared to the other rip off prices but it is still very expensive for what it is (in my mind).

I also only have a 1080p screen so it would have been a silly buy really :p
 
Nice, what sort of overclocks are people with aftermarket models able to reach with custom boards out of curiosity, or is it all similar to FE cards 2.0-2.2 Ghz sort of rnage thus far?

That's cheap. Mine spends around 60 - 80 quid on hers!! She also keeps throwing in all that makeup stuff into the weekly Shop! I pay my dues so I get my gpu power,simple really

yes women complain about GPU or technology etc. but then they go out and blow 50 on a haircut, and another 300 on some shoes and makeup... WHICH of those is the waste ????

Aha this was only for "liquid" hair! The expensive cut comes next week! :D
 
So I'm sat here waiting for my EVGA Hybrid 1080, but why am I, I've been reading it won't hit any higher O/C than FE, is there any point? Why are you lot waiting?

I went Hybrid on my TX to unlock the bios up the volts and get a solid stable O/C, you can't with a 1080.....
