The Pascal GTX 1080 Owners Thread

whats more imporant the core clock or memory clock? as i have a stable 2205 mmhz on the core and 200mhz on the memory is that ok ?

I would keep that mate 2200mhz is a fantastic clock. Single card in mine runs at 2132mhz. There are not many owners here capable of over 2.2ghz(if any).

I wouldn't return it for the lighting issue as chances are you wont get a better clocking card.

Ok thanks mate I'll mess around with the memory I think I can get a bit more as I made a huge jump I'll try 300 as if it it's stable.

Also the light issue has sorted it self out for some strange reason :D

Likely just the card not quite seated properly, connector not quite seated properly. Or some other mystery lol.

Memory should do +500. Both my cards do anyway :)

Can you chaps quote on previous generations SLI vs the 1080? I was going to pull the trigger on a 1080 AMP Extreme and hoping for a margin of improvement (around 30%) over my current three and a bit year old 780 AMP SLI'd rig.

What worries me is I have seen people mention GFX scores of around 21-22k, that nothing more than I already got :/

Have to say, very impressed and if you can believe it, much quieter than my Zotac Amp 980 Ti!
