Yerrr, I think most people assume go as high as you can on the memory until it crashs then dial it back a few notches, when in reality for the last 100 or so MHz It has been error correcting itself reducing overall performance. Still need to try and dial in my sweet spot :o

Yeah that a very nice gpu score. Is it on water by any chance?

it was my second attempt on firestrike

im 100% sure I can beat it

I hope so anyway :D not too familiar with firestrike

Not sure but it should be close all be it his is 2150mhz. With a 5960x the overall score should be in excess of 20k.

Not tested a single card in Firestrike but I may do tomorrow and compare to see just how far I can get a single card to go :).

Yeah no problem I'll do 5930k at 4.5 and GPU at 2k and 2.1k. Then I'll push the card as far as I can and the CPU should do 4.9 so I'll see what I can get :D

Will be tomorrow though due to night shifts :(
 
My shiny new toy arrived yesterday! Had 1.936ghz out of box boost clock which I was pleasantly surprised to find. Been tinkering around with overclocks, so far have it stable at 2.115ghz, and 11.1ghz on the memory. No error correction kicking in just yet on the memory so some room to play, gets unstable over the 232 offset I have on the core clock atm. Going to muck with the core voltage to see if i can improve on it. Temps didn't breach 62c, but had the fan cranked at 100% for some firestrike stress tests. Easily ramps up 85+ letting the drivers control it.

So far, looking like a decent score on the silicon lottery. Gonna stick it under water towards the end of the year when Kaby Lake makes an appearance for my new build.

Really impressed with this 1080, Managed to get just slightly over 2.1GHz on the core and 11GHz on the memory.

Played a few games at 1080P for some giggles and the frames are obscene :p

yeh 1080p with this card is serious overkill imo and not getting value for the money imo (waiting for some 1080p master race to reply to this)
