The Pascal GTX 1080 Ti Owners Thread

From what I can make out from time spy 3d mark, the GFX score results, not the CPU added results, the 1080ti is about 500 points behind the titan, but I have no idea if that score is water cooled score or air. but very very good anyway.
 
Some quick bench numbers with the difference from my 1070 that I ran last night

Time Spy 5640 -> 8395 (+48.8%)
Firestrike Ultra - 4221 -> 6635 (+57.2%)
Firestrike Extreme - 7886 -> 12316 (+56.2%)
Heaven 4.0 - 1022 -> 1656 (+62.0%)
Shadow of Mordor - 70.56fps -> 115.56fps (+63.8%)
Batman: Arkham Origins - 60fps -> 87fps (+45%)
Batman: Arkham Knight - 55fps -> 82fps (+49.1%)
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided DX11 - 39.1fps -> 61.1fps (+56.3%)
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided DX12 - 37.7fps -> 60.7fps (+61.0%)
Hitman DX11 - 66.18fps -> 90.25fps (+36.4%)
Hitman DX11 Super Sampling 1.5 - 36.78fps -> 56.02fps (+52.3%)
Hitman DX11 Super Sampling 2.0 - 22.63fps -> 34.81fps (+53.8%)
Hitman DX12 - 67.59fps -> 92.11fps (+36.3%)

Very happy with that increase. Well worth the upgrade IMO for my X34.

So they about on par with the titan again? Im glad theyre still doing the poor peoples titans, maybe ill pick some up cheap next year if the 980s start to struggle with the new games.

Going to be happy with my pre order Zotac Amp extreme. Im in no rush with my gigabyte 980ti, I think its going to be the best of the aftermarket coolers without the AIO? I have no interest in SLI since my 4GB 680`s and will end up passing the card down to my kids, My son is about to inherit a 980ti and my younger daughter a 290x lightning to play Roblox.

Check to see that the bottom of the waterblock is not preventing the card from sitting in the slot properly.

For anyone fitting a block it is good idea to have a proper 4mm socket to undo the bolts on the back of the PCB as it is very easy to damage components using pliers or even a spanner.
