Honestly, they're all much of a muchness at this point. It's as good as any. Personally a fan of the Strix OC.
Yeah, I guessed that, but I was just checking to see were Evga ok now after their little overheating problem a while back.

Hi Guys, I might be joining the dark side again. Moving from Vega 64 to a 1080Ti. Got an offer for my Vega that's too good to pass up.
Anyway, I am thinking of purchasing the Evga SC black edition. It's within my budget. Just before I actually hit the buy button, is this a decent model?
If you want to stick to dual-slot then they're a good option, esp with their warranty
Given that you're a bit late to purchase, EVGA transferable warranty will stand you in good stead if something new drops in the next 12-18 months that you want to switch to.
As previously stated, Pascal varies very little from one AIB to another.
@melmac i've got an evga sc black, decent 2 slot cooler and best warranty around. i specifically bought the evga sc black as it was the cheapest 1080ti, and also transferrable/guest warranty.
of course the gigabyte aorus and asus strix have better coolers. gigabyte have similar warranty but not quite transferrable, and asus' warranty sucks unless you bought it from ocuk
Add me to the list x4

Got mine today having been out of the loop pc-wise for about 18 months. I was amazed when OpenHardwareMonitor showed the fans as 0% when idle, had to open the pc back up and see for myself. Nice
However, the Gigabyte Aorus software is another matter. Are there any other skins or alternatives? It's truly hideous, did anyone ever really like the whole Matrix/Alien theme?
Edit - obligatory pic:
To be fair I don't think you can really go wrong with the top cards from Asus, gigabyte or EVGA (maybe some of the cheaper versions they do, like the blower cooler ones).@melmac i've got an evga sc black, decent 2 slot cooler and best warranty around. i specifically bought the evga sc black as it was the cheapest 1080ti, and also transferrable/guest warranty.
