Nice deal!, i was about to sell my 1080ti and block yesterday and had a 2080ti strix ordered but i ended up cancelling it in the end.

I only play BF1 and a little BFV @ 1440p 144hz and the 1080ti is perfect for that

Thanks! Now, the question is.. do I mount my Arctic Accelero IV to it or not?

Currently boosts to 1975 (might be off by a MHz one way or the other there) with the stock cooler. Guessing it'll boost higher If kept cooler?

Boosts to 2063mhz out the box set power slider to the max+ voltage and custom fan curve sits at 2088 without touching anything else I'm happy with that with memory running along at 12ghz (y) not as much bandwidth as my titan Xp but it holds the clocks much better therefor hardly slower plus quiter and cooler!

After some hunting, I ended up with an SC that'll do 2076, weirdly, then came upon a titan x that beats it (with a vastly lower clock). Absolute silicon lottery though. Point a desk fan at it, see what it'll clock to with temperature (mostly) removed from the equation

I've upgraded my 1070 G1 to a iChiLL GeForce GTX 1080 Ti X3 Ultra. I've run a quick Firestriek benchmark and the scores seem really quite low? I've not tweaked the card other than run the MSI Afterburner auto OC. The max temp reached was 72c so I don't think it has throttled.

Yeah, that pushing 10% faster though. I guess that is the advantage of Intel over AMD for gaming!

Normally I'd not be too botthered but I paid a lot of money for my G-Sync monitor and 1080Ti so I want to make sure they are not underperforming!

Most will do +400 (5900) but yeah both cards I've had couldn't do +500 (6000). Benchmark scores were higher at 5900 than 5950 though.

Still a great card, I don't see much reason to change it for a 2080 Ti for the 20 odd % performance boost for such a high cost.
