If there's a big jump up in performance at 3440x1440 over the 1080ti then it may be worth a upgrade for me but again it comes down to cost and sadly I can't see these new 3 series cards being cheaper than the 2080ti as that is still going for crazy money.

My slightly dusty Zotac 1080ti Amp Extreme Core Edition, without doubt, the best card I've owned, runs great and cool @4K with a 4790K @4.8. a bit heavy and prone to sagging, hence the cable ties.....
A very good B-Grade purchase from one of the OC/UK Motors meets a couple of years back.
