So I just need to find somebody with a 1070/1080 or 1080ti and get them to log into my Geforce Exp, activate it and then I am good to go?
Yep, so long as they haven't already redeemed a game under this promotion against their GPU. They would also need to login to your Uplay to add the game. This is something the seller of the code might be able to do if you trusted them.

Well caved in and purchased a second 1080ti. Just arrived, and now i can't wait to get home to install it
will be interested just how many games support sli now and how you get on with it

The AMP looks good, but I wonder is that heatpipe orientation still an issue for rotated motherboards (as in the Silverstone Raven, FT02 etc)?

for me my next GPU is highly likely to be the Zotac AMP 1080Ti or an AMD Vega solution, I suspect my decision will come down to how soon this GPU is available.

Bit the bullet and pre ordered a Super Jetstream. Let the waiting game commence.
Well it seems i was very unlucky as the EVGA GTX 1080ti i got delivered today is DOA.
There is no power what so ever, no lights or fans start. I have no other pc to test it so will have to test on work pc, but by the looks of it it aint working.

. Especially as stock is still so limited on all FE cards. Hopefully you won't be waiting long.SLI Ti's are absolutely fantastic. Only issue I'm having is a bit of coil whine. Both cards are the same so not much I can do really, not too audible in games so not really bothering me too much.

Do we have a benchmark reference thread for this card specifically? Wanna know what kinda clock is the average 1080ti is under various benchmarks.
Weirdly I can pass Time Spy at +150/500 no problem but it'll crash in heaven if I go pass +125/500
