The Pascal GTX 1080 Ti Owners Thread

The total lack of availability on these cards is disappointing from Nvidia. Given that it was the same situation with the 1080 & 1070, it's not a good trend to see. It's having an inflationary impact on price, and by the time we get our hands on one it won't be long until the next model up is due!

The 1080Ti release is just as ridiculous as the 1080. They should have just waited until end of april to release. What a complete joke.

I did mention a while ago that Vendors are often informed last minute by Nvidia doing a product release, even since 900 series with Nvidia releasing directly. I was flamed down at a moments notice....

but hopefully they'll be able to ship more stock out then Nvidia did as lessons would have been learnt from 1080s and that there wasn't a cMajor chinese holiday just before launch !

You can get FE cards true, but most people that do end up putting them under water. Not everyone wants to do this and want the custom cards. If the customs were released on launch it would have affected the sales direct with nvidia and of the FE cards, it's done for business reasons only.

We can only but hope that the wait for customs might help reduce cost if the UK pulls its finger out and the £ improves... To be honest more chance in winning the lottery now!

EVGA 1080ti was re-stocked on the official EU estore this morning so UK re-stock cannot be far away.
shame xe show 819e to be £710 but you know after the conversion it will probably end up closer to 735 then add postage also they are now advertising a different game, I dont see for honor or ghost advertised

some models are available to buy right now as well if you know where to look and a lot of places are still charging 699 so no gouging either
