On another note, where's the other 3 kaap? :p

Going from 1080 to 1080Ti are you happy with your performances I'm two mind to upgrade with a G-sync monitor
Thats my thought process .. my OC'd MSI 1080 is awesome, but I want a steady 144fps as much as I can, specifically with Battlefield. Fed up of jerky drops to 105. I hope the ti will sort it out

Can someone please link me to a decent overclocking guide, I've had factory OC'd cards for a few generations and feel a bit in the dark with how the current cards work. Am I right in thinking if the power get's too much the card throttles back?

Couple of questions about the watercoolers out there.

Is the standard 1080Ti backplate compatible with EKs block? Also, I currently have 10/13mm tubing, would it be worth upgrading to 10/16mm tubing or is it not worth it?

I think you mean 16/12? At which id say no unless your after asthetics. It may give you a degree or so but not a great deal.

I dont think the standard backplate is compatible no as the Ti backplate screws are tiny and actually screw into the original standoffs. The EK backplate uses screws a lot longer and larger to screw into the block itself.

On EK's website they have listed 10mm inner diameter and 16mm outer diameter fittings and tubing. Shame about the back plate...
