The Pascal GTX 1080 Ti Owners Thread

I have to say, I came from 670 sli, to 980ti sli, to a single 1080ti, its amazing the difference is how smooth it is, Gsync aside, really is an amazing difference in how games feel and play compared to sli.

Yeh its great. I went from 780SLI to single 980ti and won't go back to SLI now. I've slowly been pushing my clocks and am currently at +160 and +500 which gives me 2050/6000 in game and the card isn't skipping a beat at 45c. Got to love water cooling :D

Never got round to posting but when you have no paper to hand... Just use your hand :D
Gave Zotac another go with the FE as at the time was only one in stock.

Just noticed the MSI Seahawk is £900 on OCUK, I'm assuming the EVGA hybrid will be around the same price then? Seems quite steep.

personally id buy the Zotac ArticStorm and add that to my loop. Its a custom PCB not a reference one which i think the MSI Seahawk may be. Cheaper and has longer warranty.

Well coming from 2 Titan XM's to 1 1080Ti i'm very happy with the performance.

Currently running 2088 core and 5900 mem @ 41c and not had a single issue so far so will push it more today :D

Crappy SLI was putting me off playing games so i'm happy i decided to ditch it for a single card.

Also happy i got into custom watercooling, will never go back to AIO / Air.

Small update on my MSI Gaming X coil whine. I swapped out the PSU and it reduced a lot but it's still considerably more at load than the 1070 had sadly.

I'm not sure what my best option is. I'd hopefully just return it under DSR if I can rather than deal with MSI. The other question is whether to go for another one or wait a while for a different batch.

I can't believe that I'm finding myself hoping, nay, begging for a card that doesn't have coil whine and I'm spending over 800 quid!
