You need to remember it has defferent power delivery so flashing another bios is risky. It could end up trying to draw more power from the pcie instead and fry things. Fe bios has been tuned to the phases and shunts to make sure certain amount of power is drawn. Thats why shunt mod is better. It just allows 6 pin ans 8 pin to draw more power.

I wouldn't be so certain it doesn't work, some users on there have shown GPU-Z graphs where they aren't getting power as a perfcap reason anymore on FE models with the strix bios.

Had a good day testing all my reguler games with the Zotac Amp extreme yesterday, was one of the first to get it. All temps lower, fan lower and less noise than my 980ti gig windforce gaming. VR Asetto Corsa, Dirt Rally much smoother. Highest temps so far 68 degrees on 98% load. Have not overclocked it, but i think this overclocks itself does it not? Not sure how to post a picture on this forum, seems the obvious choices just give me URL links to put in.
 
Read through the thread a little but don't fancy going back so many pages!

What's the general consensus on the best card on stock cooling for temps/noise/oc potential between the following;

GeForce GTX 1080Ti Sea Hawk X
Aorus GeForce GTX 1080Ti "Xtreme Edition"
GeForce GTX 1080Ti AMP Extreme Spectre RGB

Or another model?

Very nice kaap! Just started playing TW3 again and Ti SLI runs it beautifully.

I know that (Ultra minus AA and hairworks 3440x1440) single card 91frames SLI 161 frames. so scaling is rather good. Was getting around 120 with 1080 SLI.

Fully maxed getting around 120 with Ti SLI now.
