Unfortunately an oversight, only 2xdp's and 3x 165hz monitors. Third is stuck at 60hz now, need to look at splitters as I don't have dp output on these pg279q's

My GTX1080TI arrived, only ordered the FE but got it for a decent price and can stick a better cooler on it later if its no good. Seems quiet enough, framerates are over 210 in Bioshock Infinite at 3440 x 1440, around 70 in Witcher 3 at 3440 x 1440. Sadly framerates are 47-60 in Rise of the Tomb Raider at 4k everything max with no AA.

So has anyone compared or knows if founder cards actually coil whine more than other more beefier cards, like the ASUS strix, AMP xtreme or such ? I am trying to decide if I want to go founders and slap a waterblock on it or just sell my water and buy an aftermarket cooled one, since spending 600€+ on watercooling and then getting a coilwhining card that is by far the loudest piece in the system is kind of pointless. And from my history during the last year I`ve had all the cards coilwhine 3x 980ti 2x1070 3x1080 all coilwhine like crazy, wich makes watercooling for silence totally pointless.

I would say your better off going for a custom card. So far the coil whine has been far less reported.

Also the extra 8pin makes the difference with a single card to hold over 2ghz on max load even under water.

Your better off keeping it on air or waiting a few weeks for custom blocks.

I'm almost positive I'm going to sell my ref Ti's and get a single custom card and block in a few weeks.
