Can I ask what CPU cooler is that? Thanks
That's the one, with Corsair PWM 120mm fans in push/pull. 6700k sits at 75C full load with OC of 4.7Ghz @ 1.35v (although I've dialled back to 4.4 @ 1.26 for 24/7 use).

Pretty good for the price.
I can't fault it to be honest. I've got all the kit sitting here for a full custom loop but I just don't have the time to install at the minute, and I'm not too bothered at all when I'm getting that performance on air.
The 1080ti FE is a bit hot and loud, so I'll definitely put that under water but I might just leave the heatsink on air as I'm not interested in pushing the chip any further as it isn't required.
Very nice looking build mate. Good price on that cooler considering kryorig is normally quite expensive. I was looking at that or dark rock before I decided on an AIO after getting rid of my loop.
Was you not tempted with a custom card and cooler? or was you always planning to put the card under water?
Never did get round to posting any pics as 6 days after this lot arrived I was called offshore! Imagine buying all this and having it for 6 days and then away offshore for 3 weeks! Still not home yet
Just benched my 1080ti on timespy. Getting 7300 points stock and 7632 oc'd at +150 core +400 mem. This was at 2560x1440.
Is this right? It looks like some 1080's are beating me.
4670k at 4.3ghz with 8gb ddr3 1600. Is it cpu time?
Woohoo! KU6000 50" being delivered Saturday morning too. Can't wait to see what the 4K fuss is all about.
The memory is letting you down badly, 1600mhz is very slow. This video shows you just how much of a difference it makes.
Thanks man. I did see a few other videos of 1600mhz ram vs 2400mhz and didn't see much of a difference. Max mem my Z97 Game Plus wil take is some G Skill 3200 DDR3 Trident when oc'd. Hard tracking it down though as discontinued.

I just ordered a block for my card but I may have ordered the wrong one:
I ordered : https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-w...x-pascal-1080-ti-acetal-nickel-wc-9br-ek.html
Maybe I should have ordered: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-ek-fc1080-gtx-ti-acetal-nickel-wc-9fb-ek.html
Is there a difference other than looks?
Edit: Panic over, got it cancelled.
Gigabyte Aorus owners. Dos the card sag? I've just exchanged my crappy Gigabyte 1080ti Gaming OC to this.
No sag on mine, which is surprising as it's really heavy.Gigabyte Aorus owners. Dos the card sag? I've just exchanged my crappy Gigabyte 1080ti Gaming OC to this.
An upgrade I would say (if you can of course) the 4c/4t 4670k and DDR3 will be hurting it somewhat. Ideally now you'd want at least 4c/8t.
I remember seeing quite a difference in some games of the 6600k vs 6700k. Never mind 7700k vs 4670k.
In my opinion 6700k/7700k with some 3000+ DDR4 memory and your good to go.
