How is the idle pump noise, does it run at max speed when at idle etc?

Each to their own. I'd rather not have a 1080 Ti that look like a kids toy with a ridiculous amount of RGB LED's all over the place in my system. I think this is the most neutral/clean design out of all them, even the strix (which looks a little cheap to me).

Use a 1:1 fan profile if noise doesn't bother you too much.

It's a feint high pitched hum, Not too bad, It's about thee same volume as any other AIO.

This Zotac card is amazing. Never goes above 65 degrees, very silent and performance is solid.

Shame I couldn't get a free game with the card though!

Yes it is a fantastic card, love it, why didn't you get a free game ? I chose ghost recon wildlands.
