For my needs the 1080 is that card (1440p with Max settings and above 60 FPS average). Really impressed wit the Ti though, but its overkill for me.

Noise seems same as 980ti reference. I really can't wait for aftermarket but I really don't like the noise my reference 980ti makes. Decisions.
