The Pascal Titan X and XP Owners Thread

Got it installed & gonna try overclocking & noise now. Then it's on to testing games at 4k. I hate the green logo but not sure I want to mod a £1100 gpu just yet.

After setting power limit to 120% and temp limit 85C with manual fan at 70% using stock speeds Heaven settled at a clock of 1746mhz stable after temps had settled, reaching up to 80C after 5 or so mins. It maxed at the beginning at 1822mhz for a few seconds.

What early overclocks are everyone using on air?

I just used the guru3D ones:

Power Limit : 120%
Temp. limit : 87C
Core Clock : + 180
Memory Clock : +550 MHz

Fire Strike Ultra: 7124

Just tried overclocking. Temps with fan at 75% reach 85C after 10 mins. Tried core clock & got upto +230. Unstable at +240 & very unstable at +250. Memory on it's own reached my goal of +500. Will test core & mem together for 10 mins & if it passes I will try Mirror's Edge Catalyst & Witcher 3 which are known to be awkward on overclocks.

75% fan speed is okay for me, wouldn't want over 80% otherwise noise will intrude way too much. Think I will try a custom fan curve, I hope it can keep temps at 85C or just above at 75% - 80% max though as that is not too bad considering.

+230 & +500 seems okay for now on Heaven so I think I will stick with it & see if anything different happens while gaming.

Clocks reach 2037mhz when it first starts when temps are low & then when temps at above 80C it hovers around 1974mhz with a few dips below on occasion. I had a target of being at 2000mhz so it is pretty close to being like my 1080 overclock. My 1080 hovered at late 1900's - early 2000's when gaming fully stable with +500 on the memory, hopefully gaming will not let me down on the titan. With similar clocks & memory the extra titan power will be in full force.

Tested Witcher 3 for 10 mins & the overclock above is holding fine. On this game the core clocks can go as low as 1936mhz.

Tried memory overclocking on this game. It had green blobs at +600 with my core OC on as well at 85C. The FPS results for memory with core OC on as well were +400 52fps, +500 53fps & +600 (unstable) 52fps. It seems just like the 1080 that +500 is the sweet spot at 4k or any resolution I would assume although I have not tested this.

I thought +230 core was stable until something popped my bubble, sure it was TW3, everything else I tried it was fine though. +600 memory is when I started running into issues and I had less FPS than 500. I just run 220/400 for my 24/7 till I go hybrid, I'm sure it'll top my best 230/550.

Had shopping to do last night and by 9pm couldnt be bothered starting it.

Missing 4 bits which will arrive today.

Will be on the case tonight though :)

And yes, Titan box not even opened to smell it :(

Even if I get it plumbed up tonight, there will be 24 hr leak testing. Aiming for the weekend up and running :)

sadly by then, two days later the waterblock will arrive so wondering if there is little point as I will have to drain the loop again so might wait.

Got +220 on clock, but not overclocked the memory. Currently just Folding @ Home with it. :D

Temp a little high due to a GTX970 in the same case overclocked and running F@H.

I did have it in a games machine and the temp at similar overclock was around 66°C:

You can see where I kept pushing the overclock until it fell over @ +250. :D

Some shots of Witcher 3 FPS at various places with my OC in place.

EDIT: top shot should have 55fps & settings are max except hairworks off, AA, motion blur, DOF, vignette off. Running with G-Sync so fps is capped at 60 max
