50 over a 1080 ti FE ..imo was worth it

silly move imo going from 1080 to XP... but why not.. can try get back in the scoreboard on some benchies ive dropped from 
EK block and plate was meant to come yesterday.. coming Monday now.. the founders card is loud as hell haha

Got an orginal TX(P) and wondering if now's the time to jump to a custom cooled 1080Ti, what % increase can I except comming from a TXP at 2GHZ+ to a Custom cooled Ti at what do they do 2100mhz?
ABout zero or maybe a couple fo percent at best...................at the same speed the titan is 1 to 2% faster so that 5% extra boost will add a few percent back, maybe just putting the 1080ti in front.
I cant see the point really since second hand you will only get enough for the titan to swap it depend which custom ti u go for

Ok I'll stay as is then, really don't know if I should try the new card or not, was hoping my next upgrade to be the next gen Titans.

You need the TXPp bud lol. It will be roughly 5%-10% faster than your TXP (non p)

Same really 2-2.1ghz so performance wise will be very similar.
The only reasoning to upgrade is better thermals, noise, less thermal throttling etc.

No, the old one was £1179.99 for a while before being EOL if memory serves me correctly so the new one is cheaper, albeit only slightly

Seems pretty pointless to me, I'm waiting for Volta Titan for a decent upgrade boost.

nvidia really have no shame. They're just taking the **** with these kind of releases, and I say this as someone who doesn't even own a titan.
