Welcome to the forums, your Ram would not be compatible with the motherboard/CPU so this is what I'd suggest as it is significantly faster. If you want to stick with your original graphics card then you can save ~£40.

Thanks for that wil this play games such as CS S well most of the Source games DOD S aswell at high FPS im not too arsed about AA and AF on the highest setting or anything, and how will this computer cope with the likes of ever quest 2 and a games like Fear.

Go for that, or save money and buy a X1800XT and get 2GB of RAM?

But id go for that spec instead of the AMD one myself.

Yeah thanks you have been a great help, i will go for that set up it's exactly what i want and in my budget.

yup it will be fine, as mentioned earlier personally i would instead of getting the x1900xt i'd go for the x1800xt and get 2gb of ram as this will greatly improve gameplay smootheness especially in the titles you specified! but the rest of the spec is pretty much spot on :)

Well i can save half of the money for the pc and my mum and dad will pay the other half for christmas, anyway its my birthday 2 weeks after christmas so i will get another gig of ram then.

was guna say dont get that enermax case, i had it, was awful can only use 3 of *** 4 drive bays! nice finish tho, not very practical, over the moon with my akasa eclpise 62 :)
