how did u guys get a penny under the clamp system on the True for the life of me i cant get the clamps down into the thread for me to tie the screws on it when there is a penny under it??? it requires a huge amount of weight and is fustrating...

I think you would be better off with the Polo-Mod which is just a small washer instead of a coin!
A suitable washer costs about 20p from your local hardware store, 20x more expensive than a penny but the Hole in the washer makes it easy to get the clamp fitted!

Most likely as although lapping would mean that there is less pressure so the washer mod would be needed somewhat, although without lapping, it would still increase the pressure as the TRUE mount isn't the best for pressure.
