Never trust perfection.

Amelia Sacks is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket. Her disapproving future mother-in-law, famous novelist Greer Garrison Winbury, has spared no expense in planning what promises to be the premiere wedding of the season — until a body turns up on the beach. As secrets come to light, the stage is set for a real-life investigation that feels plucked from the pages of one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect. Starring Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Eve Hewson, Dakota Fanning, and Meghann Fahy. Directed by Susanne Bier.

Watch the new limited series on September 5, only on Netflix:

As only 6 episodes got this polished off the watchlist. Enjoyed it but it doesn't do anything new with the genre that you haven't seen already in these type of who dun it shows.

Cast is stacked and it's always good to see Eve Hewson in more shows.

I have just dropped, purposefully, out of the loop with Netflix show releases. They are all just a copy pasta of what ever genre they are portraying. Then they cancel it after a first season anyway.

This one was a limited series so no worry of it being cancelled and not getting another season, I tend to watch more of those now then the s1 stuff and wait to see if it gets cancelled or not first.

Sadly a couple of massive plot holes in it. With a bit more work it could have been a decent whodunit - but only drops the information needed to flesh out the pieces to figure it out in the last 30-40 minutes.

Feels like they wanted someone playing a Daniel Craig like detective in a central role and had to work around the lack of that as well for some reason.

Not a series I would have picked but I was outvoted so we put it on. Seeing the opening sequence resembled something like Glee, well... I was quick to say it's not for me.

Admittedly, sitting through now, it's drawn me in. Although we've not finished yet. Currently about four episodes in.

Now curious to see how it pans out!

Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreider are good and play the parts. Can't help but think it's sad to see Kidman having unnecessary surgery and spoiling her look, it was never needed.

Was ok, got boring and tedious 3/4 in but wanted to finish it.

The very end was bizarre, didn't and still don't 100% get it, the reason being there wasnt any thing between them that have them that connection
